DELMER induction brazing machines and automated induction brazing systems

Industrial Induction Brazing Machines

DELMER induction brazing machines are designed for controlled, repeatable heating of suitable conductive-metal joints. Applications include copper tube brazing, HVAC and refrigeration assemblies, electrical connections, carbide and tool-tip brazing, automotive components and other production joints.

Induction brazing system selection depends on joint geometry, workpiece materials, brazing alloy, target process temperature, heating time, production rate and required automation.

Application Engineering

Joint geometry Determines coil arrangement and heating-zone coverage.
Materials Electrical properties influence electromagnetic coupling and heating behaviour.
Brazing alloy Defines the required process temperature and thermal cycle.
Cycle time Influences required power and production capacity.
Automation May include PLC, robot, temperature feedback, Start/Stop and process sequencing.

Why Induction Brazing?

  • Localized heating around the joint
  • Repeatable programmable heating cycles
  • Non-contact electromagnetic heating
  • Suitable for automated production equipment
  • Application-specific coil and power configuration

Actual cycle time, energy performance and joint quality depend on the component, coil, power, frequency, brazing alloy and production conditions.
