Delmer Acid Detergent HD is a powerful, low-foaming acidic detergent specially formulated for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) systems in industries such as dairy, beverage, processed food, and brewing. It effectively eliminates inorganic scale deposits, lime, and organic residues from process equipment, thereby eliminating the need for manual cleaning, disassembly, or system downtime.

This high-performance acid detergent is also ideal for use in blow moulding applications for glass and plastic bottles, as it helps prevent rust formation and keeps moulds in optimal condition. Thanks to its acid inhibitors, surfactants, and defoamers, Delmer Acid Detergent HD ensures superior cleaning without compromising metal integrity.

How to Use Delmer Acid Detergent HD

  • For typical CIP cleaning, use at 0.5–3.0% w/w at 50–70°C
  • For plate heat exchanger (PHE) descaling, use 5–10% w/w in pre-heated water at 50–70°C
  • Ideal for dip, circulation, fill-and-soak cleaning methods
  • Rinse thoroughly after use on all food-contact surfaces
  • Can be combined with Delmer Alkaline Cleaner HD (up to 1% v/v) for complete system hygiene
