Continuous Casting Machine for Gold, Silver & Copper Alloys | DELMER Italy
The DELMER® Continuous Casting System is engineered for the efficient and uninterrupted production of high-quality rods, strips, billets and custom profiles from precious and non-ferrous metals.
Designed for goldsmiths, jewellery manufacturers, precious metal refiners, copper alloy producers and industrial foundries, the system combines advanced thermal control, robust mechanical engineering and intelligent process management to deliver consistent metallurgical quality with minimal material losses.
Continuous casting technology offers significantly higher productivity, improved metal yield, lower energy consumption and superior surface finish compared to conventional ingot casting methods.
The cD series "ETNA"line includes a variety of continuous casting furnaces with crucible capacities ranging from 10 to 140 kg. A graphical interface and display assist the user in his task. A tubular frame and movable panel secure access to the machine body for simple maintenance. The profile drive system is made of aluminum, is fully cooled, and is powered by a stepper motor coupled to a planetary gear; it should be integrated with the casting chamber.
All of this system is closed by an easily removable cover: entry to melting equipment (Ceramic jacket, chain bushings, thermocouples) is very quick, minimizing replacement time. The cooling socket has been enhanced in accordance with the equipment so that The cooling socket has been refined in tandem with the equipment to provide the best potential performance.
The machine's heart is a mid-frequency system designed and constructed entirely by the Technical Opdel. These furnaces are frequently used for special profiles requiring a large quantity of metal to be melted. It can use accessories such as shears or saws to trim profiles and trays to cool them. In some cases, an additional tilting head can directly fill the empty crucible with liquid metal to minimize production slowdown.

With a legacy of over 40 years in industrial equipment design and manufacturing, Delmer Group is a trusted global leader in specialized thermal processing solutions. Our annealing tunnel furnaces are the backbone of high-volume jewelry production, engineered to meet the exacting metallurgical standards required for gold, silver, and copper processing.
Our furnaces feature two heating chambers that operate with separate heating zones and temperature settings.
A tubular frame and panels with louvres for air exchange are used to construct furnaces. General maintenance interventions are easier with a tubular system.
Heating muffles are made of resistance and unique, highly thermally efficient refractory insulating panels. Strong temperature changes can be handled by a special heating chamber made of stainless steel.
Due to belt movement, internal sliding blocks prevent chamber wear and tear. Water is used to cool the cooling chamber. The chambers are held together by a flange, and a nozzle on it allows gas to enter. In order to improve de-oxidation, two burners are placed in front of the tunnel's two ends.
Continuous Annealing for Superior Metal Quality
Our furnaces are designed for precision, consistency, and efficiency, making them ideal for a wide range of applications:
- Jewelry Chains – Exceptional temperature uniformity and advanced atmospheric control ensure chains with optimal ductility, flawless crystalline structure, and long-term durability, even in the most intricate designs.
- Coin Blanks – Our annealing process optimizes molecular structure, preventing cracking or warping during minting, and delivering a smooth, high-quality surface finish.
- Rectangular Plates & Wires – By reducing internal stresses, our furnaces allow for complex shaping, bending, and forming without the risk of fracture, ensuring maximum production efficiency.

Our annealing furnaces are constructed of panels with Louvres for air exchange and a tubular frame. General maintenance interventions are easier with a tubular system.
Heating muffles are made of resistance and unique, highly thermally efficient refractory insulating panels. Strong temperature changes can be resisted by special stainless steel heating chambers.
Protection gas enters the chamber through nozzles. The de-oxidation process is improved by a burner placed in front of the chamber to prevent oxygen entry. Inside is a shovel made of stainless steel.
When annealing metal, you simply push the pale to the bottom of the cooling chamber and drop it into the water tub for instant cooling (or leave it lying in the cooling chamber to cool, taking some time). The tub's treated material is removed either manually or (optionally) with a pneumatic piston.

Delmer iD Series Induction Furnace is a high-performance induction melting furnace designed for efficient, clean, and precise melting of gold, silver, and other non-ferrous metals in jewelry workshops, metal casting labs, and industrial foundries.
What It Is
An induction melting furnace is an electrical furnace that uses electromagnetic induction to heat and melt metal without direct contact between the metal and the heating element. This enables:
- Faster heating to high temperatures
- Clean, contamination-free melts
- Automatic stirring and precise control
Delmer’s design includes medium-frequency induction technology, which produces metal melts with a high degree of homogeneity.
Features:
- By churning the molten alloy at a medium frequency, alloys are produced with a high degree of homogeneity.

What Can This Electric Melting Furnace Melt?
The Delmer furnace is designed for small-batch melting of gold, silver, brass, aluminium and its alloys, subject to the suitability of the alloy, crucible and operating conditions. It is used for jewellery manufacturing, casting, ingot pouring, prototyping, small foundry work and educational metalworking.
How Does the Delmer Electric Gold Melting Furnace Work?
The furnace uses electrical resistance heating. Current heats the Kanthal (FeCrAl) coil, which transfers heat to the crucible. The metal is therefore heated indirectly, with no direct electrical contact between the heating element and the metal charge. A K-type temperature sensor and LED controller allow the operator to monitor and set furnace temperature.
Why Choose the Delmer Electric Furnace?
- Designed for small-batch melting of gold, silver, brass and aluminium
- 1 kg, 2 kg and 3 kg capacity options
- Maximum furnace temperature of 1200°C
- Kanthal (FeCrAl) heating element
- K-type sensor with LED temperature display
- 230 V AC single-phase electrical supply
- Compact 8 kg design
- Glass-wool insulation and insulated lid for heat retention
- Typical melting time of approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on conditions
Which Capacity Should You Choose?
1 kg: Suitable for jewellery workshops and smaller batches where compact size and lower power are priorities.
2 kg: Suitable for workshops requiring a larger melt batch while retaining a compact furnace format.
3 kg: Suitable for larger small-batch production, casting and foundry applications.
Electric Furnace vs Induction Furnace
An electric resistance furnace heats the crucible through a Kanthal heating element and is a practical choice for compact, low-volume melting. An induction furnace uses electromagnetic induction and is generally preferred where faster melting, higher throughput or different process requirements justify a more advanced system. Choose the furnace technology according to batch size, production rate, metal, process and available electrical infrastructure.
